Collin Barrett

Born in England of Jamaican heritage Collin Barrett and his family emigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the 70's. Collin's innovative style rocketed him onto the Toronto music scene in the early 80's as part of a hard-driving and gritty rhythm section with talented drummer Mark Kelso. His strong playing and engaging personality have created a constant demand for his "bass stylings", running the gamut from hard-core funk to elusive jazz. Collin's vision and potential are constantly growing. The early 90's have seen his reputation mushroom, not only for his instrumental abilities, but also for his talents as producer, arranger and composer.
