2. 4-day Runner — Gordon Sheard — (live) Titled by Hubie after a Satchel Paige pitch - a wickedly funky song based on a James Brown acid groove - features Randy Brecker on trumpet. P.S. check out the part where the riddum section plays in 3 against the melody in 4. Collin “I am the groove, the groove is me” Barrett gets down and dirty on this song.

3. Arabian Nights — Rick Shadrach Lazar/Gordon Sheard — (live) one of our big “hits”. J.J.'s sopranino solo makes you think he grew up in Cairo, Egypt, instead of Toronto, Canada. We added a new twist: 1 solo on dumbek over the 10/8 part of the song. My Assyrian heart sings. Lots of love to my Middle Eastern brother in riddum - Hossam Ramzy.

4. Mata Hari — Gordon Sheard — a slinky opus that features Hubie evoking images of beauty and mystery!

5. The Call — Rick Shadrach Lazar — (live) a taqsim on congas - a call to the spirits! Giving praise to all the drummers that inspired me. Yo - one heart!

6. Mambo Squad — Gordon Sheard — (live) kickin it hard - our homage to Cuban music. Lester “The Rock” Boyke and Mark “Groove-Master” Kelso live up to their names. Features myself on congas, Gord on piano, Randy on trumpet and an extended solo by Mark that brings down the house.

7. Toof Ache — Hugh Marsh — (live) we get a little crazy with the 3-way blowing - sheets of sound on a 12-tone scale.

8. Lester Smiles — Anthony Panacci — (live) this song is from our first cd - features 3-way blowing between Randy, Hubie and John - an up-tempo burner.

9. 4-day Runner — Gordon Sheard — (studio) since we featured Randy on this song at the concert we added this bonus track which features Gord on piano. Gord really is “um homem humilde” for being such a talented player and composer. His writing has focused the bands talents.

10. Broken Canoe Finale Jam — Rick Shadrach Lazar and Gordon Sheard — rockin the house with the batteria.
